We had planned to trek to Dolpo and then onwards to Jumla. Unfortunately we did not reach Dolpo because high passes were all covered with snow. Still it was a nice trek in a remote area for most of the time. The guide, cook and porter and especially the Sherpa were nice and helpful. Thank you for the nice trek.

We had a great time trekking in the Langtang area and to the Gosaikund lakes. The people of Mactrek gave us good and reliable information. We had a very good guide, Mangal. When we come back, what we certainly will, we like to do another trek and ask for him again ! and recommend everyone to do the same. Thanks.

Our Trekking experience was inspiring. Mactrek presents itself very professionally. We enjoyed doing business with them. The prices were extremely fare and our guide was great. He was a great companion for the nineteen days around the circuit. Will be back – next stop Everest Base Camp!



Paul has said it all – we had planned to trek by ourselves, but the best decision we made was to join Mactrek. Dambar is the best! Not only for the things that Paul has written but also for his patience + manner in helping us (me in particular) get through the hard bits.
