To acclimatize yourself a hike to Takshang monastery (Tiger's Den) which will take 2/3 hrs. (Alt 3000m). Lunch will be served at the cafeteria. Stroll back to Kichu resort. Evening at leisure.

Trek begins from Drugyel dzong- Shana 16 kms. 5/6 hrs walks. Camp at alt. 3800m.

Shana- Soi Thangthangkha 24 kms. 8/9 hrs walks. Camp at alt. 3800m.

Soi Thangthangkha - Jangothang 12kms 4/5 hrs. Camp at alt. 4050m.

Jangothang halt. Options- excursion, fishing or relax.

Jangothang- Lingshi 18 kms. 7/8 hrs walks. Climb over Nyele la pass alt. 4700m. Camp at alt. 4100m.

Linghsi- Shodu 20 kms. 8/9 hrs walks. Climb over Yale la pass alt. 4900m. Camp at alt. 3750m.

Shodu- Barshong 17 kms 6/7 hrs walks. Camp at alt. 3500m.

Barshong- Dodena 20 kms. 7/8 hrs walks. ITT members will receive you and drive (1 hour) on to Thimphu alt. 2300m O/n

Thimphu sightseeing. AM- Memorial chorten, Changangkha Lhakhang, Drupthop Nunnery, Royal goldsmith workshop & vegetable market. PM- Drive to Paro (2 hrs) Enroute visit Semthokha dzong the oldest dzong in the kingdom. O/n Kichu resort.
