Everest Base Camp Trek

This trek to Everest Base Camp is without doubt one of the most famous in the world. It takes you into the heart of the Nepalese Himalaya, with awe-inspiring views of many of the world's highest and most beautiful mountains. Our itineraries are carefully designed to ensure you have enough time to acclimatize comfortably, thereby enjoying the trekking experience to the full. This itinerary is intended as a guide only. Local conditions and weather may compel variations to the program and can affect the availability of views and panoramas described. Be aware that all times stated are approximate, and may vary with individual and group fitness, weather and track conditions.

The region of the highest mountain peak Mt. Everest (or Sagarmatha in Nepali) is popularly known as Khumbu region. Everest region is UNESCO World Heritage Natural site. Government of Nepal has declared the region as Sagarmatha National Park. It is also home of Sherpa. Lukla a town in the region is a gateway of Everest region. There is an airstrip in Lukla for small airplanes. The famous Namche Bazaar is two days trekking away from Lukla. Easiest way to see and feel the Mt. Everest is trekking to Namche Bazaar There are several trekking options in this region.

Main season for Everest trekking is Autumn ( September- November) and Spring ( March-May).

Day 01 - (Arrival Day) Kathmandu
Day 02 - Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Day 03 - Fly to Lukla(2827m) and Trek to Phakding(2610m).
Day 04 - Trekking up to Namche Bazaar(3440m).
Day 05 - Leisure at Namche Bazaar
Day 06 - Trek to Tengboche (3867m)
Day 07 - Trek to Dingboche(4410m)
Day 08 - Dingboche - Acclimatization Day
Day 09 - Trek to Lobuche(4930m)
Day 10 - Trek to Gorak Shep(5200m) and hike uphill to Kalapatthar(5545m.) for sunset view.
Day 11 - Trek to Everest Base Camp(5364m) and return back to Lobuche.
Day 12 - Trek to Tengboche
Day 13 - Trek to Monjo
Day 14 - Trek to Lukla
Day 15 - Fly Lukla to Kathmandu
Day 16 - Final departure
