Simikot-Mount Kailash-Zhangmu
Mt. Kailash is a mysterious mountain for travellers. But for Buddhist, Hindus and Bonpo faithful it is the abode of God Shiva; it is their sacred land. Kailash peak and Manasarover Lake are situated more than 4500 meters above sea level.
Drive to the region’s trading center at Taklakot (Purang). Green and wet monsoon weather changes to dry, cold and sunshine at the plateau. The sky is deep blue with scattered cloud. From Taklakot drive to Manasarover Lake and onward to Darchen. Walk around Mt. Kailash drive to the border Zhangmu in Nepal Tibet border and drive to Kathmandu.
We operate fixed departure and individual tour for this trip. Minimum 4 pax in a group is recommended.

Day 01 - Arrival in Kathmandu.
Day 02 - Kathmandu sightseeing and briefing on the tour.
Day 03 - Fly to Nepalgunj.
Day 04 - Fly to Simikot (2950m) then trek to Dhara Pokhari (2300m): O/N at Camp.
Day 05 - Trek to Salli Khola (2750m): O/N at Camp.
Day 06 - Trek to Muchu (3120m): O/N at Camp.
Day 07 - Rest day.
Day 08 - Trek to Sipsip (4350m): O/N at Camp.
Day 09 - Trek to Hilsa (3750m): O/N at Camp.
Day 10 - Trek and drive to Taklakot (3950m): O/N at Guest House/Camp
Day 11 - Drive to Chiu Gompa at Manasarovar Lake (4550m).O/N at Guest house/ Camp.
Day 12 - Explore Manasarovar Lake and drive to Darchen (4650m.) O/N at Guest house /Camp
Day 13 - Trek to Dira Puk (5000m).O/N at Camp.
Day 14 - Trek over Dolma La pass (5630m) and descent to Zuthul Puk (4850m): O/N at Camp.
Day 15 - End of Kailash Parikrama and drive to Manasarovar (4500m): O/N at Camp.
Day 16 - Drive to Paryang (270 Kms / 6-7 hrs drive). O/N at Guest House/Camp.
Day 17 - Drive to Saga (230 Kms / 6-7 hrs drive). O/N at Guest House/Camp.
Day 18 - Drive to Nyalam. (240 Kms / 6-7 hrs drive). O/N at Guest House/Camp.
Day 19 - Nyalam / Zhangmu to Kathmandu (150 km / 8-9 hrs drive). O/N at Hotel
Day 20 - Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 21 - Final Departure.
