World Famous Cartoonist Rana Lurie plans for Mount Everest
The world famous artist and political cartoonist Rana Lurie is planning to organize the installment of his major art, the Uniting Art, on Mount Everest.
Lurie plans to put an actual UN canvas, directly brought from the UN headquarters in New York, on Everest identifying it as the next source of the Uniting Painting that will embrace the world under the umbrella of art.
The UNITING PAINTING already exists in South Korea, New York City, and is planned for China, Japan, Russia, North Korea, Greece, Cyprus, Connecticut and the United Kingdom.
Lurie was recently in Kathmandu to seek support from the Nepal government for his mission. ......
